Senior Alignment Technician (Syracuse and Elmira)

Looking for an experienced senior level heavy-duty alignment technician to help lead our front-end department. 10+ years of heavy-duty alignment experience preferred! Experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing Alignment Issues:
    Conducting thorough inspections of steering and suspension systems, axles, and frames on heavy-duty vehicles to identify alignment problems.
  • Performing Alignments:
    Utilizing specialized alignment equipment to adjust and correct vehicle alignment to meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Repairing Steering and Suspension:
    Replacing worn or damaged parts like kingpins, wheel ends, steering boxes, and suspension components as needed.
  • Maintaining Equipment:
    Ensuring alignment equipment is in good working order and calibrated according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintaining detailed records of all alignment procedures, diagnostic results, and parts used.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication:
    Effectively communicating with team members, customers, and service writers regarding alignment issues, recommended repairs, and work progress.
  • General Truck Repair:
    May also be involved in other general truck repair tasks

Senior Level Heavy-Duty Truck and Trailer Technicians (Syracuse and Elmira)

Senior level technician wanted with 10+ years of experience.

Experience in springs, suspensions, brakes, steering and alignments is preferred. Must be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other related equipment. This role often involves leading a team, managing workflow, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing technical expertise on complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and Repair:
    Troubleshooting and repairing complete suspensions, brakes and steering and more in heavy-duty vehicles.

  • Component Replacement:
    Identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts and components.

  • Technical Expertise:
    Providing guidance and technical support to other mechanics and team members.

  • Safety Compliance:
    Ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and procedures.

  • Record Keeping:
    Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.

  • Leadership:
    May involve leading a team of mechanics, managing workflow, and ensuring quality control.

  • Communication:
    Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

  • Continuous Learning:
    Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in heavy-duty truck technology.

Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate (Elmira)

Heavy-duty truck and trailer parts delivery driver and warehouse associate. Experience in delivery, truck parts, customer service and inventory maintenance is a plus. Must have a clean NYS driver’s license. We deliver within a 60 mile radius daily.

Duties include delivery to customers, receiving incoming inventory, stocking, prepping parts orders, warehouse organization, inventory counting and more. The candidate should be a team-player and self-motivated.

Facilities/Warehouse Assistant (Syracuse)

Dedicated individual for the repair shop maintenance, including cleaning and organization, inside and outside of the building.  Minor repairs, shop and warehouse cleanup, organizational and structural projects, inventory projects and safety projects.  Candidates should be self-motivated with knowledge of repair work and facilities management work.
